Ed Lewellen, Master Hypnotist and Transformational Guru, talks about surviving the holidays with Patrick Dougher, host of The Business Spotlight, on this Google+ Hangout.
Some people are so stressed out during the holidays that they find it hard to deal with. Visiting with the in-laws and family, arguments, too much work to do, the need to communicate, uncomfortable guests and conversations – all these lead up to a hard time getting through the holiday season.
Are there really keys that will help in surviving the holidays?
According to Ed, so much of what we do is associating what we want life and the holidays to be with what it really is. We create expectations that are not based on reality. For this reason, many people feel depressed and alone, and the high mortality rate exists especially during this time of year.
As the holiday get closer, the idea of getting through and surviving the holidays gets tougher to deal with. Why? Why can’t surviving the holidays be a positive thing instead of a negative? If you are alone, why not spend time with others who are thankful for your help and assistance? If you would take yourself outside of your own comfort zone and ideals, and change your expectations, surviving the holidays would be so much different.
