Kathy Taylor offers a horse whispering course, using horses to teach you how to communicate with others. Patrick Dougher, from DoerTV.com, took a lesson to get to understand what it was Kathy does, and how it can benefit anyone in communication. This interview is a testimonial to the effectiveness of Kathy’s horse whispering course.
According to Pat, the course was definitely revealing, and helped him to not only look at horses differently, but how he communicates his feeling and attitude. The course is not at all about riding horses, it’s about using the horse as a way to teach you to train yourself how to communicate
Since there is no actual riding, t is all done on the ground to keep everyone on equal footing. Basically all it is involves trying to find out if you can you lead a horse from point A to point B. That is the physical mission. Beyond that, the mental and emotional aspects are explored, and depending o the people and the horse, what the experience is.
Kathy’s horse whispering course is a unique way of teaching communication, and it is best to come to the arena with an open-minded mindset. As you sit and communicate with the horses you find they are not impressed by egos or pretense.
How can you learn to communicate with the horse? Since a horse has no preconceived notion of you, they do not judge you based on looks, education or intelligence. A horse sees you for how you react and interact with them. Horses just read a person, on a being level rather than a talking level.
A lot of people can benefit from the attitude of the horse – they don’t care. They know they are bigger than you and could do damage if they wanted to. The respond to how you treat them. In the end, the course will show you valuable insights into yourself, and how you communicate with others. It’s best to be real – with yourself, the horse, and others.
How did you implement this into your life? In Pat’s instance he was able to tap into his subconscious to help implement changes in his life, with the help of others he has worked with.
