Patrick Dougher of The Business Spotlight speaks with Dale Swope, Michael Howard, and Gunner Thelander of Pure Bright Lighting about their innovative, plug and play LED light replacement products.
Recent legislation is requiring that old incandescent and fluorescent lighting is to be phased out and replaced with LED lighting. Pure Bright Lighting is an “enlightened” company that has found a way to bring this transition around without the added expense of total replacement of fixtures, and 100% environmentally friendly!
Currently targeting commercial, industrial buildings and institutions, Pure Bright Lighting’s state-of-the-art LED (Light Emitting Diode) products contain no mercury or hazardous waste products, and they do not require special handling when you dispose of their lights – “It is plug-and-play and when you are done with it you just simply throw it away,” says Howard. Other products need to be disposed of as hazardous waste, and there are all sorts of state and local regulations that have be addressed, says Swope. With these innovative plug and play LED light products, there is no need to worry about all this red tape.
Currently Pure Bright Lighting is the only company producing these types of products, and not only have they been able to beat their competitors in environmental issues, but in pricing and savings to the consumer.
Pure Bright Lighting is run by a small group of people within the United States. Their production arm is through a partnership with Fujitzu, a billion dollar multinational electrical manufacturing corporation.
All plug and play LED light products have been test-marketed on all the BP Oil Company’s rigs, and have had 100% success from it, with more orders.
All products are protected by a 3-year warranty, and guaranteed replacement policy. Their product lines have over 5 years of engineering development, and are built in ISO-9001 compliant facilities.
LED lights use 85% less energy than standard, high-pressure sodium lamps, and 90% less than conventional incandescent lights. LEDs are solid state lamps that contain no filament, nor inert gas as found in traditional fluorescent and sodium lighting.
The savings in electricity reduction between LED and legacy lighting is generally accepted at about 80% to 85%. This results in unprecedented savings in electricity bills, not to mention LED’s new dimension in environmental-friendliness and maintenance reduction costs, as well.
The life span of LED lighting is approximately 50,000 hours minimum, with loss of no more than 30 percent of luminous flux, and is designed to integrate seamlessly with existing lighting fixtures.
