Media is changing in our world, and SEO and Digital Marketing are changing the algorithms done by search engines. “It’s changed user intent, and Google analytics is finding out what people are actually looking for,” says Chris.
Tonja breaks it down to say that you have to “get real” with your content. How can you create a lot of value in your content to get results?
Chris says, “Touching on two points: Conversion; and getting personal. People are still people…and they want to connect with you as human beings. It’s like using stock photos instead of real photos on your site. People are looking for authentic. There’s a level of disappointment,” Chris says, “so connecting on a personal level is important.”
“Google actually has a patent,” Chris goes on to say. “It’s called Search Engine User Intent. If you get a chance to look at that patent it actually describes what they are doing.” “It means that SEO, as we know it, is actually disappearing,” he says.
