How Appreciation Can Change Your Business and Personal Life
Appreciation is important in business and your personal life. This is the message George Carradini is talking about with Patrick Dougher of The Business Spotlight television show in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
If we own real estate we want it to go up in value – this means you want your property to appreciate. The same things holds true of people and life, when we show appreciation to others we are increasing their value. When you give appreciation you receive it back. When we express and feel appreciation, we all get benefits. Appreciation is on the top of the emotional scale.
Start an Appreciation Journal – write down three things each day that you are thankful for each day. With this you start training yourself to be thankful and appreciate what you have in your life all around you.
In addition, write down all the positive aspects of the person or situations in your life. If you are angry with someone, write down all the things you appreciate about them. It diffuses a potentially volatile situation, and puts things into perspective.
